"ART IS FOR EVERYONE."
I had a great time at the reopening of the National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. Thank you for the invitation, Balai Seni Negara. It was an honour to meet so many talented, creative, and inventive people at this event. This event taught me a lot about art, specifically how to appreciate it from a different lens. gaining new skills and experiences.
The presentation of the Young Contemporary Award was also included in the tentative schedule (BMS 2021). I've been taking part in this competition since early 2021. Dr. Ifwat Ghazali and Faqieha Athilah are a passionate and inspiring pair with whom I've worked. We collaborated to produce 'Celik Solat,' the first 3D Printed art tool designed to teach blind people how to pray.
Alhamdulillah,
Even if we did not win any awards, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet new people and learn a lot from them through this project. I had a great time working with my sifu Dr. Ifwat Ghazali and Noor Azzanny, who are really dedicated to this project and poured their hearts and souls into it. Not to mention the assistance of Persatuan Orang-Orang Cacat Penglihatan Islam Malaysia - Pertis and Ibnu Ummi Maktum Research Centre - Quran & Sunnah for Special Needs, who gave us with constant feedback on the product.
